Make a list of the things for which Zechariah praises God. how does his song compare and contrast with Mary's?

visited and redeemed his people, salvation, prophecy of being saved from enemies and granted mercy and fulfillment of God's covenant with Abraham, mercy of God to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, guidance into the way of peace
Mary's song is a bit more "inward-looking"--somewhat more focused on the blessings she, individually, has received; Zechariah's is focused on God's blessing of His people
