Re: Lesson Two, Question 3
My names mean: Palm Tree, Queen, Helper of Man (married name: Like a Bear). Do you think there is significance in the meaning or story behind your name? Do you think it plays a part in who you are?

My name is my mother's maiden name--so to me it represents a continuation of, and connection to, family. (Interesting: I was just thinking that when someone who knows me well calls me by name, I "see" it spelled correctly in my mind; when someone I don't know (or know, but don't respect or admire) calls me by name, I often "see" it spelled incorrectly!) Perhaps because my name is spelled "differently," I have, for as long as I can remember, been proud of my individuality; noticing whether other people pay attention and spell my name correctly often gives me clues about them!)
